BECOMING OCEAN 

L'Orquesta Ciutat de Barcelona interpretarà a la inauguració del festival SONAR 2016 aquesta obra (Premi Pullitzer 2014 de música) del compositor John Luther Adams, inspirada en els canvis en el paissatge d'Alaska, observats per l'autor. 

Life on this earth first emerged from the sea. As the polar ice melts and sea level rises, we humans find ourselves facing the prospect that once again we may quite literally become ocean.                                                             (John Luther Adams)
